If someone shares my sponsored post will facebook show it to more of that users friends compared to if the same user shares my facebook ad?

If a user shares an organic Facebook post or sponsored Facebook post, it will still reach the same amount of people from that share, the user’s friends/followers. Although, a sponsored post does reach more people than an organic post, it does not do this because of a share. It’s based on Facebook’s algorithm, your content, target audience, location, and budget.

Quick question, when I do a Facebook ad, does this still reach my business page’s following as organic reach? E.g. am I reaching non-followers as well as followers? As well as the same for a boosted post. Is the purpose of a boosted post to push the post to non-followers or followers but getting in front of them more successfully than a regular Facebook post would?
