Our co-founders started this business in 2011 with a marketing strategy and a dream to turn it into the multi-million dollar agency it is today. We know firsthand what it takes to grow a small business from the ground up, and the same strategies we use for ourselves are the same ones we use for our clients.
How LYFE Marketing Started
LYFE Marketing was founded in 2011 by three college friends from Stone Mountain, Georgia, who shared a vision: build a marketing agency that actually helps small businesses grow.
What started as a venture launched from a dorm room at Georgia State University has since grown into one of the fastest-growing private companies in America, ranking #299 on the Inc. 5000 list with 1,501% growth. They bootstrapped their way from a startup idea to one of the most recognized digital marketing agencies for small businesses in the United States.
But it didn’t happen overnight. LYFE Marketing started as a small business with no investors, no experience, and no money. In our first year, we sent out over 1,000 proposals and got exactly one win. We funded our own campaign, generated real results, and turned a free two-week trial into a year-long contract. That proof of concept became the foundation for everything LYFE Marketing is today.
We then applied the same digital marketing strategies we used for our clients to grow our own business. This helped us earn a spot on the Inc. 5000 list three years in a row, and we were chosen by Marcus Lemonis as the go-to digital marketing agency on CNBC’s The Profit.
That hands-on experience shaped everything about how we operate. We don’t believe in cookie-cutter strategies because we know firsthand that every small business faces unique challenges and deserves a customized solution.
