John Barge is the superintendent of schools for the U.S. state of Georgia. In 2014 John Barge ran for Governor of Georgia.
Objective
As John Barge’s campaign began to gain momentum, his social media presence didn’t. In March of 2014, Barge’s campaign administration decided to hire LYFE Marketing to execute a strong social media campaign that would greatly increase awarenessand, donations and votes.
Solution
With limited time and a limited budget for advertising, against opponent’s with million dollar budgets, we had to determine an effective strategy to reach the masses quickly. LYFE Marketing quickly integrated a strong growth plan for Barge’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages. Next, we designed content centered around Barge’s main sticking point, education. We also used social media advertising to reach over 1 million Georgia Residents and influence voting.
